"Let's go out for breakfast", Ernesto says every Sunday. So we go through the same ritual of trying to pick a new place. It has to serve good coffee for one thing, fairly healthy food that's not too greasy, and it has to have a good atmosphere with good service. We always end up heading to our favorite place for breakfast, Bryant Lake Bowl. We always get the same thing...Amy's Breakfast Burrito for me, Yoghurt with fruit and pancakes for Ernesto, and double espressos and freshly-squeezed orange juice all around. It's always good, with great service from "Deadly Duck", our server and local rocker, so I've heard through the grapevine.

Great little bistro
I'll say that there are three great French restaurants in Minneapolis: Vincent, Barbette, and Beaujo's. Beaujo's has a great wine list, a good smattering of wines from Spain, France, Argentina, Napa Valley, and Australia. We had a wonderful mixed greens salad with red onions, blue cheese, beets, and pine nuts, followed by a very flaky Walleye filet with a green chile and ginger tartar sauce. It's funny that, in most European cities, these little bistros are a dime a dozen.
